The sacred heart of jesus school student experience
Sacred Heart of Jesus follows Archdiocesan standards, keeps class sizes small, and builds a culture where students are known, supported, and challenged to grow. Brainwise supports social-emotional growth across grade levels.

Enrichment: Art, music, spanish, library, PE
Primary (K-2)
Strong Foundations
Students build literacy through phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and beginning writing—supported by reading centres that provide individualised instruction. Math focuses on number sense, early operations, and foundational concepts like measurement, money, and time. Students also learn through projects and field trips.
Intermediate (Grades 3-5)
Deeper learning, more independence
Students connect concepts through projects, simulations, and collaborative work. Many students test above grade level. Literacy instruction includes classroom learning plus personalised tools, and math is grouped to meet students at their skill level.
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
Leadership Years
Middle school students take on leadership and prepare for high school with daily core classes (math, social studies, science, religion, language arts/literature). Students rotate through enrichment and complete service hours in school, at home, and in the wider community.

Technology that supports learning
Students use technology for research presentations, skills practice assessments, and writing. Classrooms use interactive Aquos Boards, and students have access to devices that support technology-centered learning.
Faith life at sacred heart of jesus school
Students pray together daily and participate in school-wide faith experiences throughout the year. Faith formation builds community and shapes how students treat others.
